Het seizoen 2015/16 in de Nederlandse eredivisie was het 60e seizoen van de Eredivisie. In dit seizoen kwamen De Graafschap en Roda JC Kerkrade weer terug in de Eredivisie. In dit seizoen werd de Eindhovense club PSV kampioen, doordat Ajax op de laatste speeldag punten liet liggen door een 1-1 gelijkspel tegen De Graafschap.

SC Cambuur degradeerde dit seizoen naar de Jupiler League 2016/17. Hiervoor komt Sparta Rotterdam in de plaats in het seizoen 2016/17, omdat deze club de Jupiler League 2015/16 heeft gewonnen.

De Graafschap wist in de nacompetitie niet te winnen van Go Ahead Eagles, waardoor De Graafschap ook degradeerde naar de Eerste divisie en Go Ahead Eagles promoveerden naar de Eredivisie. Willem II kon zich echter wel handhaven en blijft dus gewoon in de Eredivisie.
