Patricia Arquette

Chicago, Illinois, 8 april 1968) is een Amerikaanse actrice.
Zij is de dochter van actrice Mardi Olivia en acteur Lewis Arquette. Zij heeft 4 broers en zussen, Rosanna, Alexis, Richmond en David, die allemaal ook acteurs of actrices zijn.
Ze begon met acteren toen ze nog maar 18 jaar was, in de film Pretty Smart. Een jaar later kreeg ze de aandacht door haar rol als Kristen Parker in de film A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. Vanaf het moment dat ze in True Romance speelde in 1993, stond ze op de kaart. Vanaf 1993 speelde ze in allemaal grote producties zoals Beyond Rangoon, Ethan Frome, Lost Highway, Stigmata, Bringing Out The Dead en Human Nature. In 1991 won ze de CableACE Award voor haar rol in Wildflower. In 2005 begon ze met haar rol als Allison DuBois in haar eerste serie Medium. Ze heeft er zelfs een Emmy Award voor gekregen, ook in 2005. In 2006 werd ze genomineerd voor de SAG Award en de Golden Globe Award. In 2007 was ze opnieuw genomineerd voor de Golden Globe Award, weer voor Medium.
In April 1995 trouwde ze met Nicholas Cage, waarmee ze samen speelde in de film Bringing Out the Dead. Na maar 9 maanden huwelijk waren ze uit elkaar, hoewel ze in het publiek wel als stel verschenen. In februari 2000 vroeg Nicholas scheiding aan, maar trok dat weer in. Uiteindelijk in November datzelfde jaar vroeg Patricia zelf scheiding aan. Na een tijdje, in 2002, was ze verloofd met acteur Thomas Jane. Ze trouwde pas op 25 juni 2006 in Venetië, Italië.
