De Renminbi (onofficieel ook wel Chinese yuan, officieel in het Engels) (Traditioneel Chinees: 人民幣, Vereenvoudigd Chinees: 人民币, Pinyin: Rénmínbì) is de officiële munteenheid van de Volksrepubliek China. Onofficiële gebruikers zijn Vietnam, Mongolië, Noord-Korea en Myanmar. Renminbi betekent geld van het volk. De afkorting is RMB/CNY. 1 Renminbi wordt meestal 1 yuan genoemd. Het valutateken van de Renminbi is ￥/¥.
